As a CSBE Logistics Specialist for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shimada, Shinagawa, Toyota, Japan, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving logistics processes to optimize inbound and outbound product and material delivery to internal clients. Taking initiative in the “Global customer service back end project. CSBE=Customer Service Back End The local legal entity of this position is ABB K.K.

Your responsibilities
- Supporting LBUs in a global scale to solves the problems of sales tools (SAP,OMS,BOL,MCA,Price point)
- Importing new functions to sales tools
- Developing logistics processes to ensure customer oriented, timely and cost efficient activities in inbound and outbound logistics and material management
- Preparing delivery plans based on production plans and ensures forwarders and other relevant partners are notified
- Overseeing performance of logistics processes, identifies opportunities for improvement, and executes improvement projects
- Managing warehouses to ensure appropriate execution of delivery schedules.
- Identifying and selecting forwarders for domestic/export transportation and the definition of frame agreements (economic and normative terms) to reduce costs and transit time (from pick up to delivery)
- Releasing shipments to forwarders based on vendor packing lists
Your background
- College or University degree
- JLPT N1 level Japanese
- English (TOEIC score 600 or more)
- Ability to use PC software, especially intermediate level of Excel required for data analysis (vlookup, etc.), experience using Word and PowerPoint
- Experience using SAP
- Paint related experience preferred
