Capital Markets Compliance (f/m/x)
Your role at RBI
- Analyzing regulatory requirements on investor protection and market conduct with a focus on sustainable/ESG financial instruments (e.g. green bonds) and sustainability due diligence standards for clients
- Assessing best practices and market standards on ethical, responsible and sustainable business practices and implementing such standards in RBI’s Code of Conduct.
- Providing guidance on applicable RBI policies and regulatory requirements to business units
- Monitoring compliance with sustainability standards and sensitive business rules (green washing prevention, etc.)
- Development of compliance trainings programs and conducting trainings
- Supporting the design, development and review of Compliance processes in line with evolving market standards and their implementation into IT systems
Your core competencies
- University degree in law, economics, sustainability management or comparable subject or professional experience in the financial industry
- Prior experience in compliance, sustainability, consultancy, or with a financial market regulator is highly valued.
- Interest in financial markets and understanding of characteristics of financial instruments
- Affinity for data analytics and familiarity with statistical models is beneficial.
- Innovative and curious, with a talent for designing processes that enhance automation and optimization
- A collaborative, flexible, and resilient team player who excels at problem-solving
- Excellent English skills, knowledge of German and CEE/SEE-languages of advantage
