Job description

As a Chemical Development Engineer, you will:

• Develop methods and processes for conditioning and characterization of different surfaces interaction for electronics manufacturing
• Develop practical and cost-efficient solutions, meeting customer needs, in the area of corrosion protection;
• Provide technical support for cleaning & dispensing processes of power electronics manufacturing;
• Participate in root cause failure analysis to identify corrosion mechanisms or other material-related issues and establish inspection programs to monitor them;
• Conduct systematic investigation of influencing variables for surface cleaning and dispensing & gluing process optimization, stabilization, and quality improvement, using established tools such as DoE, 6 sigma, SPC / APC, FMEA;
• Act as a project manager and member of interdisciplinary teams;
• Contribute to the achievement of KPI goals.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A University Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Sciences, Physics or related fields;
• Experience in the field of surface contaminations and cleaning processes, polymer and metal materials, corrosion, electro-chemical migration and analysis methods, would be an advantage
• Good command of English (mandatory), and Hungarian, as a plus.
