Ferring+You

You will define sales and marketing strategy for the Gastroenterology and Urology BU in Austria and Switzerland in alignment with corporate strategy; lead the execution to ensure achievements of Business Unit commercial goals through management of sales and marketing functions.

Your day at Ferring

  • Responsible to lead the Gastroenterology and Urology BU according to Ferring philosophy, mission, and leadership principles.

  • Achievement of sales budget and management of opex according to spending plan.

  • Lead at therapeutic area the building and implementation of the 5 years Business Plan.
    Develop the yearly TA budget and once approved, lead its implementation, and delivers financial results.

  • Develop the TA marketing plans and commercial strategies in alignment with corporate strategies, focusing on patient centricity.
    Ensure resources allocation and execution as well as monitoring and potential corrective actions.

  • Build and adapt the TA organization ensuring commercial effectiveness through structure, processes optimization and KPIs.

  • Drive people development and engagement, effective performance management including talent pipeline.

  • Ensure a competitive marketing and sales team, by hiring, training, in-field coaching, assessing, and managing performance.

  • Ensure local access to market data, market intelligence to inform commercial strategy. 

  • Monitor and manage actions related to pricing and reimbursement in Switzerland and Austria.

  • Build and maintain compliant relationships with KOLs and customers for mutual partnership.

  • Ensure collaboration and alignment with support functions and other departments.

Behind our innovation…There’s you

  • University degree.

  • 5+ years experience in managing sales and/or marketing functions, including direct management of a team.

  • Experience with working with at least one specialty Uro or Gastroenterology.

  • Strong understanding of local Austrian and Swiss market; Understanding of local healthcare environment, regulations, and market access and ability to be responsible for additional market.

  • Fluent in English and German, written and spoken; commitment to learn local language (French).

  • Strong presentation and written communication skills.

  • Analytical ability.
