Your Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for experimentation and implementations with various methods to improve the quality of the recommender system
- Exploring latest academic research on the topics of recommender systems (for example Graph Neural Networks, Large Language Models) with the focus on code implementation in Python
- Assist in the design and implementation of Machine Learning algorithms to enhance our ranking/recommender engine performance
- Support the development and deployment of microservices using FastAPI, Docker and Machine Learning libraries
- Contribute to ensuring interpretable and explainable solutions
- Collaborate with the team to monitor and evaluate model performance, implementing necessary adjustments and improvements
Your Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant course of study such as computer science, informatics, mathematics, physics, statistics or a comparable field
- Keen interest in recommender systems, ranking problems – previous experience is not mandatory
- Good understanding of basic Data Science concepts
- Practical interest in Machine Learning concepts and techniques (deployment of models)
- Proficiency with Python programming and familiarity with main libraries for Data Science and Machine Learning
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically
