Functional area: Project Management
 

The Project Management Office (PMO) within the European Construction team supports the Director Construction EU and all other team members with regard to standards, processes, reporting and all other EU-wide and local special themes including the continuous improvement of all elements of Construction activities to reduce costs and increase efficiency.


As Working Student, you will support the Document Manager PMO Construction and the other team members in the roll out of a self-developed Document Management System (DMS).


Your responsibilities:

  • Support to facilitate the exchange of documents received from other companies, by communicating regularly with them on the current status of the project’s documentation
  • Ensures the correctness of the technical documentation, by sharing it within the reviewers (either in RWE or external consultants) and collecting feedback and addressing deviations to the relevant companies for remediation
  • Support to report regularly on the status of the project’s documentation to Project Manager Construction and the Document Manager, with special attention to deviation from the contractual requirements
  • Creation of process descriptions and operating instructions for the use of the DMS, as well as conducting training courses for the entire Construction team
  • Creation of analyses and presentations on the current status of the introduction of the DMS


Your profile:

  • Currently enrolled as a student preferably within the field of IT, scientific disciplines or engineering
  • Very good English skills are required, an additional European language is an advantage
  • MS Office tools regular user, experience with DMS is an advantage
  • Very well structured, precise and punctual, eager to work in a multicultural environment, in the renewable energy sector
  • Capacity for 20 hours a week
