Tasks
In your role as a Data Science Student, you will play a crucial part in expanding and enhancing our portfolio of AI solutions. Your main responsibilities include:
- Optimizing AI Models: Assisting in the optimization of language and multimodal AI models through advanced training and fine-tuning.
- Innovative Application Development: Participating in the development of innovative applications using generative AI technologies, particularly Large Language Models, including the integration of various APIs using Python.
- Data Preparation and Analysis: Helping in collecting, cleaning, and preparing high-quality datasets for analysis or model training.
- Analyzing Model Results: Evaluating Model Efficiency and Effectiveness: Analyzing outcomes and tracking key performance indicators to assess model performance.
- Report and Presentation Creation: Preparing reports and presentations on findings and progress to share with the team and other stakeholders.
- Feedback and Mentoring: Benefiting from regular feedback and mentoring from experienced Data Scientists to foster learning and professional development.
- Hands-On Customer Project Experience: Gaining valuable practical experience and exciting insights into the daily operations of an AI mid-sized business innovator by actively participating in various customer projects.
Practical Deep Dive Instead of Dry Theory: Through independent participation in different customer projects, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and get exciting insights into the life of an AI mid-sized business innovator.
Requirements
- Advanced Academic Pursuits: Currently pursuing advanced studies in Statistics, (Business) Mathematics, Business Informatics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
- Practical Python Experience: Hands-on experience in programming with Python and familiarity with common Data Science and Data Engineering tools such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.
- Passion for New Technologies: An enthusiasm for new technologies and tools in the field of Data & Generative AI.
- Theoretical Knowledge with a Practical Outlook: Possessing theoretical knowledge about Data & Analytics topics and eager to implement these in practical scenarios.
- Teamwork and Initiative: A propensity to work well in a team environment, bringing motivation and self-initiative to the role.
- Proficiency in Office Tools: Strong skills in using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Language Skills: Good proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
