Werkstudent:in – Weiterentwicklung Iav Frontend Framework

This challenge awaits you:

IAV uses web front-end and cloud technologies in various customer projects. For example, we are shaping the mobility of tomorrow with connected vehicles and innovative cloud applications such as our DiSA Remote Service Monitor. We have developed the IAV Frontend Framework to create a uniform design specification for numerous web applications and avoid redundant developments. With the Frontend Framework, we also increase error reduction and configurability. We increase development speeds, minimize costs and at the same time ensure compliance with data protection requirements. As an Innersource project, our framework is already being used in numerous projects throughout the company. We are now looking for you to join our development team in order to operate the framework for an increasing number of applications in the long term.

Your Tasks:

• Familiarization with the structure and architecture of the IAV Frontend Framework
• Concept development for the implementation of new requirements
• Implementation of new features and created UI/UX designs
• Carrying out code reviews (to improve code quality)
• Maintenance of the associated company-wide documentation
• Test & bug fixing

Necessary Skills:

• Ongoing studies in computer science, technical computer science or a comparable course of study
• Very good written and spoken German
• High degree of independence and communication skills
• Process-oriented thinking and structured approach

Desired Skills:

• Development experience in one or more of the following areas: Java- / TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS
• At least 2 outstanding years of study in Bachelor's or Master's degree or across Bachelor's and Master's degrees
• Experience with project organization tools (e.g. Git, Jira, Confluence, etc)
• Points of contact with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS or Azure)
• Points of contact with agile project management methods
