About this role

About Multimedia Solutions

The Multimedia Solutions team is BlackRock's strategic audio-visual, video, digital media and event production partner. Our global teams, together with our crewing network, produce and manage events, videos, animations and webcasts for employees and clients.

This position is responsible for planning, producing and carrying out virtual, in-person and hybrid conferences for both internal and external audiences ranging from 50 - 1000 attendees, including multi-city roadshows and international events, from inception through conceptualization, budgeting and creative design, to on-site execution and pre and post-event production work across internal teams including Event Marketing, Video Production, Webcasting, Animation and Global Creative.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • High level experience with WebEx and Zoom Platforms in producing virtual events

  • Experience in all facets of high-level event/conference production, including conceptualization and design, budgeting, show-calling, and familiarity with audio and video production, lighting and set design, various types of display systems, videoconferencing, and graphics

  • Creative and technical expertise within budgetary constraints

  • A passion for researching, integrating and implementing new insights and solutions in the event production space

  • Webcasting experience is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note), Teams, and Service Now


Soft Skills Required:

Additional soft skills that will be essential for success in this role are a relentless focus on client service and relationship building. The Event Production Team is not so much about simply providing a service, but about crafting, encouraging and building positive relationships with the clients we serve. Moreover, partnership and cooperation with colleagues and peers both within and across departments will play a meaningful role to the success of this position.

Attention to detail, timeliness and efficiency are essential, but ideal candidates will take pride in contributing to BlackRock's mission to bring financial wellbeing to its clients, take emotional ownership and accountability for their work, and demonstrate a passion for performance.

Ideal candidates must be willing and able to spend time as necessary in NYC BlackRock offices, as well travel domestically and internationally as needed. They must be self-starters with the ability to work well independently and collaborate with all personality types at all levels and positions within BlackRock, as well as produce and perform under tight deadlines and extreme pressure.

Our hybrid work model
