Vat Manager Emea - German Speaking (M/W/D) - Gigafactory Berlin Brandenburg

• Initiate and implement indirect tax opportunities and identify risks. Be involved in cross border (indirect) tax projects
• Provide VAT advice and trainings
• Work with the wider businesses and corporate functions to identify VAT risks and opportunities
• Assist and support the VAT Analysts in the compliance processes and ensure the integrity of IT Systems for VAT purposes
• Manage VAT audits
• Liaising and work with internal stakeholders at all levels within the business such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Supply chain, IT, logistics and Accounting Department
• Manage relationship with external stakeholders such as tax service providers and the tax authorities

• A degree in tax or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
• Professional working experience in VAT, VAT Automation, with excellent knowledge of indirect tax in EU/EMEA
• A good understanding of Sabrix or can work with a similar tax engine
• Accurate, independent, and highly organized project manager, with a focus to details without losing overview
• Proactive and drive for excellence
• Analytical thinker with excellent communication skills at all levels in the organization.
• Excellent communication skills, with business level fluency in both English and German languages (written and spoken)
