You will be working as Technical & Design Promotion Specialist and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Buildings division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Service Sales Manager and will be responsible for planning and implementing proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and need for specific features or products. Building long-term customer relationships, identifying and developing sales opportunities by introducing, presenting and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools.
Your responsibilities
- Implementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, educational material and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group
- Providing customer support by responding to technical questions and performing electrical calculations for the design institutes and technical consultants
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques
- Conducting and organizing appropriate training interventions to educate the target audience on ABB products, systems, services and offerings
- Managing administrative tasks in technical promotion processes and creates reports based on the organization’s needs
- Supporting continuous improvement on NPS and the execution of customer satisfaction surveys
- Supporting growth of the top line in each market, finding and creating new business opportunities
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Having minimum 5 years’ experience in building segment and electrical solution
- Knowledge about electrical switchgear, DB’s and switches
- Hands on experience in electrical switchgear, DB’s and switches, BMS, LMS, EMS, low voltage panels
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
