Surface Drilling Equipment Support – Student Position Summer 2024

Currently, we have an opening for a Surface Drilling Equipment Support Student. This is a student position for the summer of 2024. In this role, you will focus on supporting a variety of different tasks in the warehouse such as shipping and receiving of parts, inventory organization, and implementation of a new barcode system.

What you will be doing

• Warehouse support, such as setup of the internal stocking system
• Lead development of technical training aids for the Sandvik Fire Suppression System.
• Development of technical support and management procedures, drawings and documentation for Rock Drill reseals and refurbishment.
• Participation in weekly Sales, Parts and Service Team meeting.

What you will bring along

• Working towards completion of post-secondary education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is considered an asset
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
