We are now looking for a Supply Chain Stream Leadfor offshore wind farms.
The position is within the O&M Delivery department, which is responsible for O&M activities on our offshore wind farms and focuses on operating our wind farms safely, efficiently and professionally.
As a Supply Chain Stream Lead, you will be leading strategic and ad hoc projects and resolving tactical and operational challenges with stakeholders. Thus, you have the following main responsibilities:
Support the three functional areas in the Supply Chain to ensure that all relevant requirements are reviewed, defined and updated on the Vattenfall contracts towards OEM suppliers for new projects.
Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure that the strategic objectives of Supply Chain projects, including but not limited to, the Full Control Readiness (FCR) workstream are met.
Lead specific optimisation projects and work on tasks to ensure the deliverables are in alignment with the overall project plan. Ensure that all tasks and deliverables are executed in accordance with organisational policies, processes and standards.
The above includes:
- Identify key stakeholders and document business requirements
- Identify key project milestones and sub deliverables
- Track overall project progress to ensure that the Supply Chain meets objectives within defined timelines
- Contribute to the planning of the Supply Chain workstream to contribute towards the overall project plan, milestones and deliverables
- Support day-to-day operational activities, coordinate and advise Supply Chain resources in accordance with the overall project deliverables
- Monitor that all deliverables are achieved in line with key milestones and the overall project plan
- Identify project constraints, issues and risks
- Identify and present lessons learned
Location
The location is flexible to be either Kolding or Esbjerg in Denmark, Hamburg, Amsterdam or London
Ihr Profil
You will play a key role in the fulfilment of the O&M Supply Chain objectives, it is therefore a requirement that you can work independently in a structured way.
You have an understanding of cultural differences and can act accordingly. You have good communication skills and drive. When necessary, you can make quick decisions in difficult circumstances, while maintaining an obliging and service-minded attitude and flexible adjusting to changing circumstances.
As a Supply Chain Stream Lead, you hold the following qualifications in short:
- A relevant university degree or equal, with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in a similar position or project management combined with a Supply Chain background. Preferable you have a technical background with a qualification in project management or project coordination
- A solid background and experience in stakeholder management, project management and coordination
- Experience from process optimisation work is considered an advantage
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain, warehouse and supplier management.
- Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written
- As a person you are structured, independent and result oriented
- You are a team player who actively engages people by asking, sharing, helping, or asking for help. You are also pro-active, transparent, performance and results-oriented
- The ability to travel as and when required
