Supplier Quality Engineer - Mechanical (m/f/x)

• As part of our international projects, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of inspection and test plans in cooperation with the internal specialist departments and ensure that they comply with the project-specific quality requirements as well as the prevailing standards and regulations. You will evaluate the findings together with the suppliers and service providers and derive targeted measures from them
• You accompany the planning, coordination and implementation of supplier and service provider audits in pre-qualification as well as in in-process control and re-qualification. You consolidate the results and create meaningful reports (non-conformity reports) in order to document the results and independently process defined measures in the further course
• You manage the audit effort on a risk-based basis depending on the supplier and service provider performance and define control steps as well as the relevant documentation
• You will make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of our quality control and qualification processes. To this end, you will take part in "Lessons-Learned" appointments, you will carry out extensive root cause analyses and derive appropriate measures
• You will work closely with the Supply Chain department to ensure on-time deliveries under agreed quality. To this end, you will coordinate inspection and control appointments and ensure that the project-related requirements and documentation (including certificates, test results, material verifications) are fully met and available
• Together with the technical departments, you will support our international sales teams in the evaluation of quality requirements, the evaluation of supplier and service provider performance, as well as further expand and maintain the necessary KPIs

• You have completed a technical degree (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.) or have a technical education or a comparable qualification
• You have at least 3 years of proven professional experience in quality control with a focus on supplier management as well as further experience in quality management (u.a. ISO 9001), preferably in an international environment
• You have a hands-on mentality, analytical skills and enjoy building a new subject area
• You are easy to use 8D systems as well as Q methods for finding the causes of errors (FMEA, 5 Why, Ishikawa, etc.)
• You have very good communication skills as well as negotiation and intercultural skills
• You are a team player with good organizational skills and have technical and commercial understanding
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills (at least C1)
• Business trips are an enrichment for you, a willingness to travel of approx. 40% is to be expected
• A plus would be experience in the PV industry or in the project business
