Join our dynamic and innovative team in Workday's UI Platform and help us build a context-aware co-pilot experience that leverages the power of large language models.Recent technological advancements in machine learning and generative AI have enabled software products to become context-aware and adapt to individual users' needs. As a result of this investment, we're recruiting Frontend and Fullstack (Python) Developers to join a newly formed team within our UI Platform group in Dublin. This team will be responsible for delivering a context-aware co-pilot experience to Workday, empowering our users with a more personalized and efficient way to interact with our software.

About the Role
At Workday, we're on a mission to empower our 55+ million users to be more productive and utilize Workday to its full potential. We leverage machine learning (ML) to analyze software usage patterns and provide guidance features that help users achieve their goals.
Our AI & Guidance software stack consists of a Python-based backend and a React-based frontend. We encourage self-organization within teams to address specific problems. While proficiency in React is essential, prior Python backend experience is advantageous.

We seek a passionate individual excited about building industry-leading applications used by millions daily. The ideal candidate is a team player who embraces industry best practices and excels at developing innovative frontend code and testing methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Work in a multi-disciplinary scrum team. Define, build, deploy and own new features
Collaborate with visual and interaction designers to craft the UI of the product
Drive technical design and architecture meetings with the team and perform peer code reviews as part of everyday workflow
Demonstrate technical awareness, vision and influencing skills in your interactions with the people outside your immediate team/or
And finally: Have fun engineering software!
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
5+ years’ experience developing software in a commercial environment
3+ years’ experience in developing web applications in HTML5/CSS/JS using frameworks/libraries
2+ years’ experience in developing web applications in React
1+ years’ experience developing software in Python
Proven ability to work in an agile, fast paced continuous delivery environment
Other Qualifications:
A passion for innovation and ability to contribute to shaping the technical and product roadmaps
Experience working with ML and/or Python and a curiosity about venturing into the backend service when needed to take on end-to-end problems would be an advantage.
