YOUR TEAM

We're building the central ADAS compute platform for automated driving and parking systems and any safety technology. Developing our solutions for the biggest vehicle fleet on the market, we're making mobility safer and creating a new level of driving comfort.
We are working as a team defining and establishing a reliable, robust and safe system and software architecture using newest technologies in hardware, software and tools. We collaborate with different stakeholders within Cariad and all VW brands while roling out the next generation software framework and ecosystems and enabling autonomous driving (Level 3&4).
You will become a part of our international and highly motivated team in the area of autonomous driving platform & services. We shape the future in automotive together with you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Defining system and software architecture for ADAS platform domain computer
• Concept definition regards consideration of external interfaces, standard group requirements and aligning with vehicle architecture to define the best in class platform architecture
• Your area of responsibility will touch communication technologies (e.g. Ethernet, PCIe, …), Storage solutions and other need periphery
• Discuss the requirements and architecture with the related architecture and enabler teams
• Responsibility for the alignment concept solution of all integrated system artifacts for the ADAS platform
• Taking in consideration safety and security related system concepts to ensure that these are fulfilled
• Interaction with different internal and external stakeholders to be able to define optimal ADAS platform architecture

WHO YOU ARE

• Deep understanding of software architecture in the context of embedded systems
• Several years of experience in software development and/or software architecture
• Deep understanding of AUTOSAR, Adaptive AUTOSAR or similar systems
• Knowledge of functional safety according to ISO 26262 and security according to ISO 21434
• Team player with a high level of communication skills
• Fluent English language skills (oral and written), German language skills are a plus
