Job Description

• You will manage all processes related to daily reconciliation, settlement and security transaction processes to guarantee flawless financial services
• You will identify optimization potential, develop scalable processes and manage the execution of time-sensitive tasks to achieve operational excellence
• You will supervise team members below your level to ensure smooth processing of transactions with external partners for clearing and settlement as well as exchanges
• You will review security event analyses and solution proposals and make fact-based decisions
• You will coordinate and be responsible for communication with our external partners for clearing and settlement as well as stock exchanges to ensure smooth processing of transactions

Qualifications

• You successfully completed a banking apprenticeship or a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent
• You gained multiple years of experience in securities services, brokerage or asset management; prior involvement in a bank’s middle or back office is a plus
• You have comprehensive knowledge about securities and banking processes, such as corporate actions, securities transfers, on-exchange trading and settlement
• You are able to evaluate results, make fact-based decisions and update relevant stakeholders in a time-sensitive environment while managing competing priorities
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• You are fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
