About the Team
Workday is seeking a versatile financial professional to join the team as a Senior Manager, Finance Enablement. You will join a growing team as we continue to build our Finance Enablement capabilities and develop processes to support rapid business growth. We have built a new Finance Enablement team to develop and deploy smart digital investments that improve experiences for our customers. Finance Enablement’s vision is to make digital experiences more personally relevant, convenient, and valuable for our customers with an agile ‘test, learn and improve’ mindset.About the Role
We are looking for someone with strong business partnering and analytical skills and the ability to engage business partners at a strategic level. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a great communicator, and enjoys collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role supports the FP&A organization and reports directly to the Director, Finance Enablement.
Responsibilities:
Lead execution of the Finance Enablement roadmap by working closely with FP&A leadership and cross-functional business partners to help guide and support direction, prioritization and implementation. Success is achieved by helping to build the right things, at the right speed and in the right way
Build materials to articulate a strategic vision to internal and external partners via staging and leading key forums (e.g., workshops, etc.)
Support the Business Finance M&A Playbook for planning, execution, and post-integration activities for acquisition integrations. Also assist with continual revision of the playbook based on lessons learned through various integration projects
Identify and implement business process improvements to enhance financial planning effectiveness, control and operational performance. This can include advising the Business of systematic or process oriented solutions (e.g., leveraging Workday HR, Financials and Planning systems to automate and improve current reporting/forecasting).
Support Finance Data Governance initiatives by monitoring and leading the accountability model and processes related to data asset management, metadata management, data quality, and issue resolution
Mobilize Business partners impacted by ground-breaking change through the implementation of a successful change management plan (e.g., communications and training)
Lead, develop and inspire a successful team
About You
Basic Qualifications
5 + years of people leadership experience
7+ years of experience in business analysis or related field
7+ years experience with ERP finance systems to include GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Costing and Budgets a must
7+ years experience implementing, administering, and integrating SaaS software and/or Workday
Other Qualifications
Post-MBA or Post-Master’s degree-related experience preferred
3+ years of experience with Workday products preferred
3+ years experience with Salesforce and integration
Previous consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software organization preferred
Operational excellence experience as a lean six sigma practitioner is a plus
High proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Google suite
Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills with high attention to detail
Experience in the application of accounting principles to periodic financial reporting, planning, and forecasting
Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills
Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
