These tasks are waiting for you
- Improve and develop the user experience of our Conrad Sourcing platform through architecture, design and implementation of new, high quality features and applications in the frontend area in a scaled agile setup
- Working closely with other teams in the department as well as across departments to develop the best possible solutions
- Continuous further development of the entire development process (architecture, security, automated tests, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, etc.) in close collaboration with the team
- Ensuring and constantly optimising application security
- Ensuring the availability and smooth operation as well as the performance, maintainability and scalability of the team applications
Who we are looking for
- Degree in computer science or business informatics, training as an IT specialist or comparable qualification
- 5 years of experience in the software development of e-commerce platforms with in-depth knowledge of HTML, Javascript (VueJs), CSS and responsive web design
- Expertise in common software development methods and practices (e.g. versioning, CI/CD, unit tests, microservices, build tools and DevOps)
- Experience in the cloud environment and working with common technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka and APIGee
- Experience in dealing with high-traffic e-commerce systems
- Ideally experience with Scrum or other agile methods
- Solution-oriented and creative mindset as well as self-organised way of working
- Ability to work in a team and interest in working in international and distributed agile teams
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
