Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Be the point of contact for Customer Quality topics, liaising with different areas within Infineon as the customer advocate to fulfil the interests of the customers and Infineon
  • Manage Customer Complaints (FARs) for designated customers respectively product lines within PSS, playing the roles of Customer Interface, Complaint Manager and FAR Coordinator whenever applicable, to drive proper problem resolution within the agreed target dates and according to customer and IFX process requirements
  • Liaise with Business Lines, FA Labs and Customer Quality teams in different regions, to drive product and process improvements, resolve customer issues and secure resources for the management of FARs and other customer requests
  • Train other team members in Customer Quality and Complaint Management topics, including but not limited to the roles, responsibilities, methods (8D, 3x 5Why) and IT tools, in order to enable such members to perform their assigned roles in PSS QM
  • Act as the Local Process Expert in PSS QM for complaint management of hard- and software, being the point of contact within PSS to clarify inquiries, drive process reviews/ improvements together with other divisions, operations and Central QM
  • Moderate Problem Solving (8D) teams and lessons learned sessions, involving other functions within and outside of PSS, facilitating teams to solve problems, identify gaps and implement improvements
  • Leading customer complaint related Focus Teams and Task Forces, if required
  • Engage in digitalization projects, identifying processes where digitalization or artificial intelligence bring strong benefits in Quality and speed. Actively proposing such projects to the PSS Management team and implementing it after management buy-off
  • Lead whenever required, improvement projects focusing on Quality and Customer Satisfaction, within the scope and milestones defined by the PSS Management team

Your Profile

You are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation and clarify areas of responsibility with your colleagues. You have the passion and the courage to develop new and creative ideas in your working area. You are personally committed to the customer's concerns and awards them a high priority and keep the customer informed appropriately, transparently, and regularly.
You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry
  • 6-10 years of working experience in a quality related function, ideally in semiconductors and their production, electronics, automotive or related industry
  • Capability to make decisions and manage conflicts in complex environments and under pressure
  • Experience in managing quality of software is a strong plus
  • Project Management skills, including team lead and intense data analytics, ideally with development and implementation of digitalization solutions
  • Previous experience as a team leader, or in managing different projects with large teams is considered well advantageous for this role
  • Professional knowledge and experience with quality systems, methods, procedures and tools (e.g. 8D, FMEA, 5why, etc.)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification desired
  • Good knowledge of Master Dat a, SAP, Tableau and MS Office; knowledge of statistics tools such as Minitab is well desired
  • Mandatory business-fluent English; business-fluent German is a plus
