Your role:

As the Business Development Manager in the Contract Logistics area, your main responsibility will be actively identifying, evaluating, pursuing, and acquiring new sales opportunities. Additionally, the position involves effectively managing opportunities related to Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to ensure success in these areas

What will we do together?

* Break down global/regional strategy to develop local/sub-regional sales strategy.
* Support the development of regional sales strategy and product development.
* Research strategically prioritized areas, sectors, and target accounts (within sector/geography) to uncover potential business opportunities.
* Present solutions to customers, demonstrating clear business value, engage in negotiations, and close deals.
* Identify and evaluate key individuals involved in the assigned target accounts.
* Prepare, conduct, and accompany handover to operations after closure, acting as the customer's prime contact until handover to Operations/Account Management is finalized.
* Support the local sales force in customer interaction to drive the Supply Chain's growth agenda.
* Plan the sales process and coordinate the opportunity team throughout the sales process.
* Analyze collected data together with functional experts (Solution Design, IT, HR, Real Estate, etc.) and support solution development.


Who are we looking for?

* Minimum of 6-8 years of sales experience (preferably in the logistics industry).
* Excellent market understanding, relationship-building skills, and an established network of contacts.
* Proficiency in effective sales, contract management, and potential experience in selling transportation and contract logistics.
* Excellent communications skills 
* Ability to actively seek clients, analyze the market, and develop unique sales approaches.
* Capability for independent action, including client targeting and Business Development activities.
* Fluent in English.
