(Senior) Analytics Engineer – Credit Risk Business Banking (w/m/d)

Your Tasks

• You are the brains behind our data-driven decisions with the analytics and data solutions you build. You dive into complex service data and design product-oriented dimensional data marts.
• Using dbt and Python, you build and roll out scalable, slick data transformation models and pipelines.
• Plus, you spearhead documentation and automated data quality checks, making sure any hiccups are swiftly dealt with.
• Keeping tabs on data pipelines and queries, you ensure everything runs smoothly and can scale up as needed.
• Collaboration is key – you work closely with risk analysts and data scientists to tailor-make data products to fit their needs.
• On top of all that, you whip up and maintain data visualizations and reports using Looker or similar BI tools, giving us the actionable insights we crave.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or similar
• Expert-level knowledge in SQL to develop and maintain intricate queries, strong programming skills in Python for data ingestion, automation, and analysis
• Proven experience in building dimensional data transformation models with dbt or similar tool
• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Git for efficient code collaboration and version controlling
• Experience in Apache Airflow or similar tools for orchestration and automation
• Risk-driven and product-oriented thinking, showcasing adept problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical topics clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
• Prior experience in banking and/or Credit Risk management in a financial or consulting company is a bonus
• Fluent in English both written and spoken, German knowledge is nice-to-have
