Resource Planner - Dispatcher

As a Resource Planner – Dispatcher for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Toyota, Japan, you will be responsible for coordinating service work done at site and ensure it complies with ABB's and customer's standards, procedures, and policies. Single point of contact for the customer during the execution of a Service job.

This position reports to

Robot Application and BD Manager

Your responsibilities

• Reviewing and communicating all onsite entry requirements for FSE’s prior to site visit
• Ensuring proper PPE is noted and available for the FSE’s prior to their visit
• Leading and delivering responsive support coordination to exceed customer expectations/experience
• Assessing gaps with service delivery, contract execution, and customer focus and works with engineers and operations managers to mitigate the issues identified
• Collaborating with other coordinators to ensure FSE resources are allocated to maximize completion of customer service requests and contract delivery.
• Working with Operations Managers to maximize absorption and utilization rates of Field
• Reviewing all service activities and trainings that are required for the job and ensures that the FSE has the appropriate skillset, safety education, travel documents, security clearance, and certifications to complete the request scope of work
• Driving cost of poor quality (COPQ) to zero with minimal need to re-dispatch FSE’s to complete the tasks assigned

Your background

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in coordination work
• Basic PC skill
• Mechanical knowledge is preferred
• Open mind/ communication, Rapport building and interpersonal skills
• Communication & Coordination skill
• Loyalty, passion, stability and strong sense of integrity
• Proactive manner
• JLPT N1 level of Japanese and basic level of English
