The Opportunity
This position works out of our location in Wetzlar in the department Vascular - Abbott Medical GmbH.Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive products for treatment of vascular disease.
Your Tasks:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function for the Vascular DACH region, manage internal and external reporting
- Coordinate, prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and forecasts
- Analyze business performance, trends, risks and opportunities
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and decision making
- Develop and maintain financial models, tools and systems
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies and procedures
- Maintain the control framework in line with SOX requirements and manage internal and external audits
- Lead, coordinate and develop a team of three senior sales and SG&A analysts
Your Qualification:
- University degree with at least 7 years of experience in Controlling/Finance
- Sound Financial/ Accounting Experience
- First leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate within finance as well as to senior management and the commercial organization
- Proven skills in prioritizing and completing assignments within deadlines
- Advanced command of ERP systems, Microsoft Office packages, BI and reporting tools, SAP experience is of advantage
- Excellent command of German and English language
