As the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Portfolio Manager, you'll fulfill the roles of Real Estate strategist, project manager, and buyer. You'll oversee TenneT's Real Estate transactions.Our organization is growing faster and faster. To challenge this growth, you'll be part of a team of specialists ensuring the right strategy for building projects and Real Estate transactions.

You'll collaborate closely with the Senior Portfolio Manager CRE and report directly to the Head of Facilities Management. You are goal-driven, flexible and do not shy away from a challenging project that needs to be realised at short notice. In addition to the Dutch portfolio, your commitment may also be required for German projects.

Your expertise spans developing Real Estate strategies, managing transactions, and handling procedural documentation. This holistic approach to Real Estate management integrates strategic planning with meticulous transaction execution. And by utilizing your extensive network and strategic insight, you will ensure the seamless execution of transactions crucial to supporting TenneT's growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of the Real Estate strategy. Offer strategic advisory insights at the board and executive level, while coordinating property valuations and technical survey
• Develop financial and qualitative business cases
• Perform comprehensive market research to identify potential Real Estate opportunities, which will demonstrate proactive and strategic thinking.
• Employing process-oriented project management methodologies involves actively engaging stakeholders to manage risks proactively, swiftly resolving bottlenecks. Additionally, you pay attention to relevant legal and business regulations that will ensure smooth sailing through the intricate landscape of Real Estate ventures.
• This all operates within a teamwork structure, where you'll collaborate with approximately 40 colleagues. This includes project managers, contract managers, asset managers, facility management, and IT professionals. Together, you will play an essential role in shaping Real Estate transactions for data centers, offices, and commercial spaces.

Jouw profiel en achtergrond

Profile:

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a specialization in Real Estate, complemented by a completed Real Estate Education and at least 8 years of experience in Real Estate transactions and valuations
• Possess strong communication skills, demonstrating a proactive and persuasive approach, and maintaining a results-oriented mindset.
• Maintain a relevant external Real Estate network in the Netherlands and Germany, displaying a willingness to travel for knowledge exchange and coordination.
• Exhibit proficiency in Dutch, German, and English languages (verbal and written)

BTO will enhance delivery reliability, energy transition, and organizational and financial health through digital, data, and analytics. It will establish a solid foundation with seamless end-user services, leading cybersecurity, and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will maintain consistent BTO alignment, forge strategic partnerships with suppliers, and enforce clear standards for architecture, vendor & portfolio management, and security. Additionally, BTO will unlock the value of data by building all necessary enablers (including data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives in business roadmaps
