To support our quality team at the Itzehoe site, we are looking for a dedicated

Quality Management Engineer (m/f/d) / Welding Supervision

In this challenging position, your main task is to monitor and ensure the welding processes in accordance with regulations along the value chain. You work closely with purchasing, engineering and production to ensure compliance with relevant standards at all times and to ensure flawless products and the continuous improvement of our quality and processes.

Your tasks:

• Taking over the Welding Supervision according to DIN EN ISO 14731 for our products

• Support of all departments related to welding in the

• Supplier selection, qualification and audits

• Project management

• Training and qualification of employees

• Maintenance and further development of welding processes

• Compliance with our quality and safety standards

• Optimization of all quality issues with regard to our QM system in accordance with ISO 9001 and development towards an integrated management system

• Analysis of relevant quality indicators and initiation of activities and projects to continuously improve our processes (including digitalization, etc.)

• Management and collaboration in local and global quality projects

• Ensuring existing company certifications and approvals

• Leading and supporting system-, customer-, supplier- and internal-audits

• Supporting internal quality assurance / warranty processes

• Testing and documentation of certified components and pumps

• Support with the non-destructive testing of components

Your profile:

• University degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, process engineering,…) or comparable

• Further training as a welding engineer is a must

• Extensive practical experience in the application of welding and testing procedures

• Several years of solid professional experience in the field of quality with comprehensive knowledge

• Relevant additional qualifications (e.g. internal/external auditor, personal certification in non-destructive material testing) is an advantage

• High quality awareness, commitment and flexibility

• Strong technical understanding and analytical thinking skills

• Independent and team-oriented way of working

• Solid knowledge of MS Office and SAP

• Fluency in German and English
