Production Supervisor

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our supportive team of production professionals at ABB Oy, IEC LV Motors division in Vaasa. In this role you will act as the supervisor for a team of production workers in our component manufacturing. You will collaborate with the team to ensure that the production runs smoothly with quality, capacity, schedules, safety and needed maintenance in mind. Component Manufacturing manager

Your responsibilities

• Supervising the component manufacturing /foundry area team and managing the execution of production plans
• Working together with the team, scheduling and performing production activities and ensuring timely delivery
• Planning and scheduling frequent equipment and machine maintenance to ensure safety and performance
• Leading with example and ensuring as a team that all health and safety regulations are met in production

Your background

• B.Sc. level degree from a relevant technical field, such as Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Previous work experience from production in an industrial company with understanding of 5S and lean principles
• Fluency in Finnish, both written and spoken with good English skills
• Development oriented attitude - you are able to suggest and implement process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity
• Ability to lead yourself and to work in a team with a quality-oriented customer centric approach to work
• Good collaboration and communication skills to support collaboration with stakeholders
• Good skills in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams etc.)
• Previous knowledge or experience with of SAP is seen as a benefit
• Previous knowledge or experience with ABB products, components and technologies is seen as a benefit
• Knowledge or experience with molding processes is seen as a benefit
