Job description

Your primary responsibilities as Product Coordinator Perishables, Airfreight, at DHL Global Forwarding Norway will be to:

• Ensure a high level of Customer Service and cooperation between all involved parties. Create, build and maintain excellent relationship with Customers.
• Function as a point of contact between our clients and the DHL team, suppliers and partners.
• Create, build and maintain excellent relationships with key suppliers.
• Creates, build and maintain relationships with other internal functions (e.g. Finance, Sales, Customer Service, DHL Global Forwarding International Network) and acts as subject matter expert for ad hoc operational questions with regards to   accounts which are being serviced.
• Arrange and book airfreight capacity, arrange for delivery and pickup, finalize bookings and performs booking optimization.
• Follow-up shipment status throughout the transit, identifies incidents and ensures resolution of incidents, as well as preparation for Claims Handling.
• Interact with Customer Service, Product, and Global Service Centers.
• Ensure handling of required Export documents according to regulations and internal procedures in close cooperation with our Operational & Sales Team.
• Weekly freight billing, invoicing and financial controlling for our Perishables department.
• Ensure customer requirements are met and take corrective actions in case of deviations from customer requirements.
• This position requires both day shifts and night shifts.

• Has IT Generalist knowledge.
• Effectively handles pressure and stress in a professional work environment.
• Has good written and oral communication skills, both in Norwegian and English.
• Is a candidate for Approved background check from the Norwegian Airfreight Authorities. We will assist with the application process.

Qualification 

Our ideal candidate (preferably) described below:

• Is results driven and attention to details
• Has operational background (understanding of business and processes with substantial working experience within function)
• Education at minimum Bachelor level within logistics, marketing, sales, economics etc., is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of AFR Operations is considered an advantage.
• Enjoys working in a hectic environment with multiple tasks at the same time.
• Is a people-person and are motivate to build their network.
• Driver’s license & access to car.
