Functional area: IT / Digital
Your responsibilities
- You will support the implementation of a state-of-the-art, global network architecture, and respective management procedures
- You will ensure delivery and continuous improvement of the Network Operation
- You will maintain transparency across service availability and performance as well as foster efficient event management
- You translate business requirements into IT/OT specification and implement solutions according to overarching design principles
- The main focus area will be the Operational Technology (OT) of RWE renewables assets
- You optimize and implement latest technologies as well as troubleshoot escalated issues (2nd level support)
- You set-up and maintain technical documentations and user manuals
- You enable continuous improvement and monitoring of networks and IT security
- You act as an ambassador for OT Security and ensure compliance to local regulations
- You administrate firewalls and analyse network traffic with systems like Darktrace
Your qualification
- Degree in IT or training as an IT specialist
- Several years of professional experience in network administration and engineering
- Strong experience with administration and troubleshooting on firewall systems
- Experience in the implementation of connected systems using Operational Technology (OT)
- Versed knowledge in cross-site network infrastructure design and monitoring
- Knowledge in the design, operation, and management of on-prem and cloud network infrastructure
- Experience in running Network Operation
- Good knowledge of English
