Operations Finance Analyst

You will be working as Operations Finance Analyst and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Measurement & Analytics division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global BL INST Sales & Service Controller and will be responsible for collecting and analyzing financial metrics, identifying trends, problems, communicating information to relevant groups and recommending actions to improve financial performance of the specific factory or manufacturing site.

Your responsibilities

• Performing analyses of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions. Performing benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB
• Preparing financial modelling for various hypotheses, assessing impact to factory with special focus on product or business line profitability, product costing, production variances and absorption analysis or inventory analysis
• Supporting the preparation of the relevant organization’s financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Providing information to the management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations

• Ensuring processes, controlling within their area of responsibility are designed, implementing in line with the group and unit requirements

Your background

• Degree or Master’s in Accountant or CMA or Chartered Accounts
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in key finance areas of any manufacturing unit expertise product costing, standard cost and operational accounts
• Experience in finance, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and reporting
• Highly proactive and result driven attitude with the ability to influence, communicate and network in the organization
