Occupational Health Manager (part-time role) - Your next role?

As the Occupational Health Manager, you will provide leadership and expertise for us in Occupational Health aspects, while building stakeholder relationships and collaborating with key functions such as Operations, Engineering, Commercial, S&T, Creation & Application, Regulatory, Procurement, and Corporate Ethics and Compliance. You will provide expertise knowledge and advice on Occupational Health to internal and external customers, act as an expert in questions and global solutions findings in the area of Occupational Health ensuring Leadership and Governance for the following subject matter topics: Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Chemical Exposure and other related topics, help develop and implement policies and processes in EHS Occupational Health area of expertise, and promote the EHS culture across the organization.

You will be based in Kemptthal, Switzerland (hybrid role, #LI-Hybrid) and reporting to the Global OH Manager.

You will:

  • Act as expert for global solutions in the area of Occupational Health ensuring Leadership and Governance for the following subject matter topics: Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Chemical Exposure and other related topics
  • Support continuous improvement and gap closure concerning Occupational Health programs
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Occupational Health global directive, standards and guidelines documentation as part of the EHS Management System
  • Asses and analyze Occupational Health data, summarize statistics, and compile reports
  • Maintain current knowledge of Occupational Health and safety legislation
  • Provide support and expertise on industrial hygiene topics: exposure assessments, sampling plan development, air monitoring, results review, actions implementation
  • Support manufacturing and commercial sites in risk assessments, decision making and controls implementation
  • Conduct audits as necessary as part of the Global Internal EHS Audit team
  • Prepare and provide virtual or in person global training on Occupational Health topics
  • Manage any emergency event that may occur in EHS Occupational Health area of expertise
  • Provide global support for consistency and compliance
  • Introduce changes in co-ordination with the business
  • Represent the company in industry association and expert group task forces

Your professional profile includes:

  • University degree in Chemistry / Biology / Engineering, EHS or equivalent
  • 5+ years of international experience in the area of expertise
  • Certified Occupational Hygienist a plus
  • Fluency in English
  • Technical background in the area of Occupational Health ensuring a Governance for the following subject matter topics : Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, Chemical Exposure.
  • Effectively translates vision into action
