Job description

In your new role you will:

• Negotiate frame agreements and individual agreements after supplier selection process
• Negotiate yearly and long-term price/capacity to achieve set targets
• Negotiate capacity upside/downside which can have a commercial impact
• Negotiate general contract parameters in line with identified performance improvement measures
• Implement risk mitigation measures per supplier
• Define the assumption for short-/mid-/long-term price and volume forecast

Your Profile

You are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation and clarify areas of responsibility, coordinate your work with colleagues, and regularly share your insights with them. You act as an entrepreneur, focus on results and stay aware of costs. You recognize opportunities and have a good sense for profitable (business) ideas. Furthermore, you set yourself ambitious goals, remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations and take decisions despite uncertain circumstances.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in (Industrial) Engineering or comparable, alternately a degree that combines technical courses and Business Administration
• At least 5 years of working experience in Technical Procurement, negotiation, supplier relationship management
• General knowledge of supply chain including manufacturing processes, logistics and quality management
• Relevant expertise and understanding of the semiconductor products, market, particularities and the supply chain in the semiconductor field from foundry to assembly
• A solution-oriented mindset and abstract thinking
• The capability to outline and present complex issues in a simple manner while not neglecting the essential details
• A strong multi-cultural and interpersonal skillset including cross-functional teamwork
• Strong communication skills in English
