Your Tasks
- Evaluate potential of assigned sales territories, define and lead a strategic approach with action plan, industry positioning, and appropriate industry promotions as necessary
- Implement acquisition strategies for existing and new business opportunities within assigned sales territories
- Ensure close collaboration internally (e.g. MICE team / inside sales / sales team / TMC & OTA) and externally (partners and suppliers) for continuous development of assigned sales territories / customers
- Drive and oversee the group and event RFQ process in collaboration with inside sales and be responsible for generating RFQs, conversions and profitable rate agreements
- Responsibility for negotiating annual contracts / tenders with the client portfolio with a focus on growing Deutsche Hospitality's share commercially and steadily
- Organize sales and partner events and represent Deutsche Hospitality there as well as at relevant trade shows and industry events
- Responsibility for budget compliance
- Collaboration with the Revenue Capacity Team
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in the hotel industry, preferably also a related university degree
- You already have several years of relevant sales experience, ideally in the business travel segment
- You already have experience in the independent negotiation of contracts
- Your expression in the Dutch language is absolutely sure in word and writing. Furthermore, we require a good command of the English language, and would appreciate knowledge of the French language
- Knowledge of sales channels in the hospitality industry would be an advantage
