There is a focus within Avanade ASG and company-wide to grow our Managed Services business for the Microsoft Technology stack, both from an Application and Infrastructure Managed Services standpoint. In support of this strategy, Avanade is looking for candidates with Managed Services solutioning and deal shaping experience for a Lead Solution Architect position.

You will be leading solutioning teams with the aim to develop competitive solutions for Managed Services engagements including data gathering, analysing, effort and cost estimating, deal shaping, proposal development, as well as assisting with contracting. In addition to that, as a senior member of the practice, you will be responsible for growing our solutioning and enterprise architecture capabilities for Managed Services across ASG and helping to maintain and raise solution quality standards across our deals.
What you’ll do:
· Shape end-to-end solutions and Solution Architectures for cloud transformation, modernization and operations .
· E stimation, solution planning and collaborating with Accenture and Avanade teams to create the optimal client outcome.
· Lead and coordinate teams of specialized Solution Architects and SME’s to create the optimal client outcome .
· M anage risks and delivery expectations with the client and Avanade/Accenture delivery teams .
· Lead hand-over to delivery of successfully closed deals as interim technical architect ensur ing high - quality standards .
· Work closely with Market Unit Leads, serving as SME in cloud architecture and solutions .
· W ork with Solution Area teams to enhance managed service capability and skills; collaborate with delivery center architects to standardize and improve efficiency and quality.
Skills and experiences:
· 3+ years solution selling (Sales/Bid Team, RFI, RFP, etc.) in complex managed service transactions in a European based position
· 5+ years global service transition or man a ged service delivery experience in multiple geographies and industries
· Experience with Microsoft technology based Managed Services solution constructs
· Proficiency in a specific area of Managed Services (Workplace, Cloud I nfrastructure or Business applications)
· Ability of estimating, costing and working with Finance and Sales Leads on pricing models
· K nowledge of Managed Services service contractual constructs, experienced in the development of contract schedules
· Proficiency with frameworks and processes (ITIL, COBIT preferred)

· Demonstrating strong analytical skills, ability to analyse customer provided data
· Abi lity to define solution elements even when not all the required information is available. Realizing and documenting reasonable assumptions.
· Very strong written and oral communication. Ability to communicate complex solutions to less technical people
· Providing leadership to diverse teams and capability of leading teams effectively within a Matrix organization
· Willingness to travel and fluent English and German language skills
