Team Description

The TS FIG Germany, Austria & CEE team is part of the Europe FIG Sales coverage team looking after Financial Institutions and Non-Bank Financial Institutions based in Europe. Responsibilities include managing existing client relationships, building new business and penetrating new clients and segments through the Wholesale Payments value proposition and product suite. The team works closely with the Global Corporate Bank and all other lines of business to manage bank-wide client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support
  • Support Sales teams through project work and analysis
  • Provide assistance to Sales team to ensure that clients are receiving agreed services
  • Support the team to manage the on-boarding and the KYC processes and end to end deal execution including product and billing set up
  • Develop relationships with the team they are supporting
  • Be involved in the preparation of client account plans, briefing memos and portfolio management reporting

Deal Support
  • Prepare and review marketing material (pitch books, presentations and slip sheets) for Sales ensuring clarity, accuracy and consistency
  • Support Sales managers with preparation of proposals and material for internal approvals
  • Work closely with Sales, Product and Implementation teams to collate relevant information
  • Take ownership for the end-to-end deal management process, mastering the use of the implementation tools

Client/Market Intelligence
  • Set up and maintain client data
  • Run client-focused internal projects
  • Analyze key revenue and pipeline data in order to deliver reports to senior management
  • Conduct research on existing client portfolios and prospective clients
  • Keeping abreast of ongoing developments in the areas impacting EMEA headquartered clients, such as regulatory developments, political background or market trends in the industry
  • Partner with internal teams in their annual client account planning process to provide fundamental research on current and target market sizing by region

Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with relevant partners (TS Implementation, TS Product Management, Customer Service) to deliver to the business

Experience and Qualifications
  • Strong organizational, time management and planning skills. A track record of accurate execution and ownership
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to adapt to internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated career progression, proving ability and desire to develop client and technical skills to ultimately assume a Sales/Relationship Management role
  • Experience in a front office environment and regular client interaction/strong client focus
  • Strong analytical, technical, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment, spanning global time zones and working hours
  • Able to operate in a matrix environment where you can demonstrate strong partnership in achieving your goals
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
  • German language is preferable
