Joining Technician, Body in White (m/w/d) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

• Responsible for continues process optimization in current production environment
• Collaborate closely with Quality Engineering to maintain and improve joining quality score
• Support and assist production in all quality and process related joining topics and issues
• Support maintenance team in troubleshooting difficult breakdowns and equipment failures
• Perform proof-of-concept to green light new and novel methods, technologies, and suppliers
• Develop welding joining database
• Maintain proper documentation of all necessary procedures and process control

• 2+ years of experiences with the spot welding process and equipment.
• Hands on robotics experience in an automotive environment
• Experience with extensive problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Experiences with the following welding and joining processes will be plus: stud welding, MIG welding, Laser brazing and welding
• Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills and familiarity with MS Word/Excel is required
• Experience in setting up and running spot welding monitoring systems
• Proficient in CAD (CATIA is a plus)
