As a Java Engineer / Technical Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting applications used by millions daily. Lead the design and development of new features and enhancements for core internal systems within a collaborative Agile team.
Tasks
Take a leadership role in technical decisions
Collaborate on problem-solving within an Agile framework
Investigate and recommend emerging technologies
Mentor and provide technical guidance
Contribute to key design decisions
Promote best practices within the team
Profile
Strong core Java development experience
Proficiency with SpringBoot and microservices
Demonstrated mentoring and technical project leadership skills
Experience in eCommerce or high web traffic environments
Knowledge of databases (SQL, MySQL, CouchDB)
Advocate of Agile methodologies, TDD, and software development best practices
Familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes
Collaborative with excellent communication skills in English and German
