As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our clients application within the financial sector.
Tasks
Designing, developing, and maintaining essential software.
Upholding a high standard of security and coding practices.
Daily engagement with infrastructure using Terraform.
Establishing and advocating the adoption of best practices throughout the software engineering life cycle.
Managing cloud technologies, with a focus on AWS and CloudFormation.
Collaborating within a self-organizing and cross-functional Agile team.
Implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approaches to embed quality into the implementation.
Providing mentorship to junior software engineers.
Profile
To thrive in this role, a successful Cloud Security Engineer will possess:
Commercial experience as a software engineer, DevOps engineer, or Security Engineer.
Significant experience or a keen interest in Security within software.
Proficiency in Terraform, showcasing your ability to navigate and utilize this crucial tool.
In-depth experience with AWS and cloud technologies, demonstrating your expertise in cloud-based solutions.
Familiarity with Java, showcasing your versatility in programming languages.
Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring framework.
Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or a relevant programming language, highlighting your programming prowess.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Fluency in English, with German language skills a bonus
