Then come and join our global Center of Excellence for Business Intelligence Front-End Tools and Artificial Intelligence as IT Solution Architect (f/m/d) for AI Platforms. The “AI Service” is a central service that provides a platform for data scientists and non-data scientists alike to implement AI related use cases.

Our prime goal is the provision of value by designing, establishing, and operating Artificial Intelligence based solutions for internal Siemens Healthineers use cases, as well as providing guidance

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• You will manage and implement technical aspects of the current AI Service and drive innovation by evaluating and transforming latest AI technologies (e.g., Large Language Models) into valuable solutions
• You will design, plan, and manage platform related solutions and IT infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
• You will engage with internal stakeholders and collect requirements to convert their demands into efficient, compliant, and valuable solutions
• You will be working on daily operational topics and answer queries of our customers as to usage and problem solving
• You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of our AI platforms
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive self-service analytics and digitalization

Your qualifications and experience:

• You have a master’s degree in computer science or any computer science related course of studies
• You have several years of experience in using and configuring cloud technologies (preferably Azure) on a conceptual and infrastructural level and a profound understanding in working with the latest AI-based technologies (e.g., Large Language Models)
• We also welcome applicants with a bachelor's degree or completed vocational training coupled with additional professional experience in this fieldYou are familiar and have hands-on experience with the following concepts and solutions:
• Modern software development concepts (e.g., CI/CD)
• Azure DevOps or similar Code/Service-management platforms
• The configuration and usage of Databricks, Azure ML Studio or any other data science related platform
• Automating the creation of infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform
• You have at least a basic experience in the following areas:
• Code development in Python
• Cognitive Services in Azure (or in similar cloud environments)
• Container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (Cloud based solution like AKS or GKE)
• It is a plus to have experience in front-end or full stack development

• You business-fluent English enables you to collaborate and communicate with colleagues in an international environment. German language skills are an additional plus
• You are exactly the right person for this position if you combine technical knowledge with excellent communication skills.
• You work passionately on automating manual workloads
• You are interested in the up-and-coming innovations in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI
