Job description

In your new role you will:

• Develop technical collateral to support the design and promotion of products (e.g. app note, eval board)
• Develop and run fit-for-use testing during new product development
• Write automation program for fit-for-use test as necessary
• Build, test, and troubleshoot application boards
• Document test results
• Prepare and present test reports

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you are/have:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or other related field
• Familiar with circuit basics (e.g. classes such as analog circuits)
• A power electronics background
• Electronics lab experience – soldering, debugging circuit board, use of lab equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, e-load, etc)
• Familiar/experience with lab automation and corresponding software, such as LabVIEW or Python
• Experience with PCB design and layout
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• US citizen or green card holder: This internship requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $19.50 per hour
Maximum of $32.50 per hour
Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
