Aufgabengebiet

• Lead and orchestrate financial, corporate, and project control operations, ensuring strict adherence to established accounting principles and corporate guidelines.
• Direct the creation and analysis of monthly financial reports, delivering precise and timely insights to support strategic decision-making both at corporate and project levels.
• Collaborate closely with the central accounting team and regional finance units to maintain consistency in financial reporting, aligning with corporate schedules and directives.
• Take charge of financial planning and budgeting processes across the organization, scrutinise variances and offering strategic insights to optimize financial performance.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls, policies, and procedures within the control function to safeguard assets and enhance operational efficiency.
• Partner with project developers and project directors to oversee project financials, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Support the Head of accounting in coordinating external audit processes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory shifts, and best practices, providing pertinent insights to the leadership team.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the controlling team through mentorship and development initiatives.

Anforderungsprofil

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; preference for a background in Chartered Accountancy.
• Proven track record as a Controller or in a similar role within a project-driven organization; experience in the renewables sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Robust understanding of international accounting standards and regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, showcasing the ability to efficiently oversee cross-functional teams.
• Possess an analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with financial software and systems; knowledge of SAP S4 Hana is a plus, though not obligatory.
• Effective communication skills for seamless engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
