Group Lead Global (W/D/M) Logistics Tender Management

As part of Global PM/EPC Logistics & Material Management, the Global Logistics Strategy & Tendering department is responsible to identify and implement new technologies, new strategies, and improvement projects along the transport chain during the installation phase of our wind farms. We ensure adequate logistics budgets, as well as create and establish best in class processes and support the Tooling, Material Management, and Execution teams on tactical and strategic initiatives.

YOUR TASKS

• Leading and developing the team of Global Logistics Tender Managers
• Create and implement new processes to further improve Global Logistics Tender Management
• Manage the internal and external interfaces
• Be a first escalation point for the interfaces
• Create Logistics Strategies for wind turbine projects in the sales phase
• Understand the scope of work and highlight risks and opportunities
• Providing cost calculations for the wind farm logistics (from factory to POD) for major as well as secondary materials and tools
• Reviewing risks along the internal sales project review process (gate process) and active implementation of risk mitigation measures during customer contract negotiations
• Liaising with other departments like Engineering, Purchasing and Legal during tendering phase
• Consolidating, tracking and updating costs database with lessons learned from operations
• Interface between Regions and Headquarter
• Represent the organization in technical and commercial negotiations
• Support in customer contract negotiation, if required
• Support to improve tender and execution technical documents for logistics

YOUR PROFIL

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management/Logistics, alternatively comparable professional training and extensive experience
• At least 5 years professional experience in the field of Project Management / Logistics / Supply Chain / Tender Management
• Broad network inside the logistics industry
• Good Wind Turbine Logistics knowledge beneficial; experience in an international matrix organization
• Business fluent in English and German; Spanish is a plus
• Good MS-Office knowledge
• Strong business acumen, end-to-end-thinking, proactive and target-oriented
• Strong communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of management
