Fleet Purchasing Analyst

This person will be responsible for providing general administrative & analytical support to the Senior Director, Fleet Procurement across a range of areas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Document all contract related data in a structured manner in all relevant internal systems with acute focus on accuracy, process, and accessibility of that data to internal stakeholders

· Work closely with Yield and Pricing to implement the annual Fleet Yield Plan for the respective regions

· Determine Fleet Purchase Demand based on Yield Plan for different vehicle categories

· Allocate purchase volumes based on Yield Plan and availability from suppliers ensuring key financial/supply chain variables are considered in planning

· Maintaining constant communication with Fleet Procurement Specialist to ensure national Fleet Purchase Demand is accurate and aligned

· Synthesize analytic findings and share results, typically with Yield and Pricing, Operations (Regional VPs, Branch Managers), Fleet Controlling and Car Control

· Prepare re-occurring fleet purchase demand reports shared with Senior Management

· As needed, work cross-functionally with Car Control and other department administrators to ensure accuracy of data (e.g. in-fleet volume / de-fleet volume)

· Interact with Fleet vendors (e.g., OEMs, Dealerships) to obtain data and communicate changes

· Prepare, process and analyze market data (ad hoc)

· Develop and run financial models (e.g., financial analysis of fleet costs, fleet allocation analysis by region), leveraging current tools and systems (e.g., excel, SQL, access) as needed.

· Lead day to day operations for the purchasing department, working with cross functional teams at HQ and Germany

· Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance, or accounting

· Business analytical and/or regional demand planning experience preferred

· Excellent analytic thinking and problem-solving skills

· Ability to anticipate and independently resolve issues; ability to work collaboratively and proactively contribute new ideas

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to meet deadlines required; market research/analysis capabilities is a plus

· Excellent MS Office skills (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access); specialized functional knowledge as relevant (e.g. demand planning, procurement, sourcing, supply chain)

· Ability to work independently and cross-functionally

· Must be at least 18 years old

· Must be able to work 40 hours per week and flexibility to work overtime if needed

· Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

· Fluent in English, and ability to communicate in other languages (Spanish, German, etc.) is a plus.
