Join us in our UPS Healthcare division in the Netherlands, where we operate in the fast-paced pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market. In this permanent role, you’ll help us ship to businesses and customers around the globe from our centres in all Europe.

YOUR PURPOSE

What you’ll do?

As our Healthcare F&A Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for all day-to-day financial affairs for UPS Healthcare business unit in the Benelux and Germany. And you’ll enjoy the chance to inspire the future of our F&A services.

Working within our state-of-the-art Healthcare Distribution Facilities, you’ll manage your own team, leading them in the day-by-day activities related to all the financial affairs. Your general activities will include:

  • Credit control, salary administration and the financial month-end closing;
  • Overseeing all financial accounts (general accounting, AP, AR and fixed assets)
  • Preparing financial statements and liaising with external auditors to ensure annual audits are performed;
  • Examining manufacturing variances to clarify gaps between company reports and ledger results;
  • Analysing data for patterns, trends, indications, and insights, depending on the analysis request or situation;
  • Creating benchmark analysis and being part of the annual budget process, providing recommendations for business decisions;
  • Ensuring that your knowledge is constantly up-to-date, and your team members understand their financial responsibilities to achieve financial goals.

What does it take to keep one of the world’s biggest and best shipping and logistics companies running as part of our UPS Healthcare division?

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or comparable. An MBA is a plus;
  • 2-3 years working experience, preferably in an accounting, tax or finance control position;
  • Experience with financial ERP, reporting and data analysis;
  • A warm personality: you easily build a relationship with colleagues and customers;
  • A structured working attitude: good at setting priorities for yourself and others;
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
