As Facility Manager for our Central Europe region, you will play a crucial role in Tesla's mission, providing comprehensive operational support to ensure our Tesla sales, service and delivery facilities run smoothly and are up to our brand and workplace standards. This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily infrastructure and facility operations of 78 locations across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Romania. You will lead and manage a growing team of 6 FTEs, ensuring teamwork and collaboration across countries. Additionally, you will be responsible for building out a workplace management team for our Berlin sales, service, and delivery headquarters.
What You’ll Do:- Lead, manage and develop a team of 6 facility operations and workplace professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Oversee the daily infrastructure, facility and utility operations across 78 locations in multiple countries. This includes managing maintenance, repairs, planned preventive maintenance, renovations, janitorial operations, etc.
- Ensure compliance with country building regulations and collaborate with our EHS team.
- Regularly execute location visits, monitor facility spending per location, proposing cost-saving initiatives, and conduct facility satisfaction surveys and manage the renovation and building expansion project pipeline.
- Facilitate communication between the EMEA facility programs team, facility coordinators, and local sales, service and delivery managers on critical initiatives and projects.
- Build out a workplace management team and operations for our Berlin sales, service and delivery headquarters.
- Provide and coordinate facility emergency support where needed.

- Extensive experience in Facility Management/Construction/Property management or a similar professional level.

- Strong communication skills in both English and German.
