Event Manager (d/f/m) - Cloud Concierge
Location: Munich – Germany
Start date: ASAP, 1 March preferred
We are looking for an Event Manager to join our Event Services Team on our client’s site in Munich, Germany. Our client is an American multinational technology company focusing on search engine technology, online advertising, cloud computing, computer software, quantum computing, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, and consumer electronics.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Supports all events that take place in Cloud Space, including EBC Engagements, EBC Lites, and Technical Engagements
- Liaises between the service lines (catering, reception, security, facilities) as needed to confirm alignment as it pertains to events booked in the dedicated Cloud event space. Serves as main point of contact for facilities day to day for the space.
- Partners with Cloud EBC team and Cloud Sales account teams to research and create scalable partnerships/bookings for car service, hotel, and restaurant options for customers, as needed.
- Provides an elevated event experience for VIP/high profile events.
- Ensure seamless customer experience from start to finish
- Engages with appropriate level of executive presence due to high volume of C-Level Googlers and guests.
Must Have skills and experience:
- Must have 4-8 years experience in Event Management, preferably in IT sector
- Excellent and very confident communication skills in both German and English language is a must
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Manages and improves existing reporting structure
- Process oriented with great documentation and presentation skills
- Effective communicator with peers, management, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Confident user of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
