We're in search of an adept Electrical Engineer to join our client's team, focusing on the design, implementation, and upkeep of electrical systems within their data center infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should boast a solid background in Electrical Engineering, emphasizing expertise in power distribution, backup power systems, and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy electrical systems for data center facilities, encompassing power distribution, UPS systems, generators, and electrical safety features.
• Collaborate with diverse teams including mechanical engineers, architects, and project managers to seamlessly integrate electrical systems with overall data center design.
• Conduct electrical load calculations and power quality analysis to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of critical infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to electrical systems, including schematics, diagrams, and maintenance records.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in data center Electrical Engineering to drive innovation and improvement in our facilities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to onsite technicians and contractors during installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of X years of experience in Electrical Engineering, preferably in a data center or mission-critical facility environment.
• Profound understanding of electrical systems design principles, encompassing power distribution, grounding, and protection.
• Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or SKM PowerTools.
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA, and IEEE.
• Experience with commissioning and testing of electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional certification (e.g., PE license) is advantageous.
