About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a backend software engineer at Trust Lab.
The Backend Software Engineer role is responsible for crafting the backbone of our products, developing and maintaining robust backend services that power our internal operations and serve our customers. As a key contributor to our dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues to transform business requirements into innovative technical solutions, ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of our systems.
ResponsibilitiesCandidate is responsible for development and deployment of CI/CD pipelines on AWS, both in serveless (Lambda) and Kubernetes environments. Our backends and data pipelines are mostly written in Python, and Web application frontends are authored using React, Javascript and Typescript. Accordingly candidate should be familiar with patching and upgrading Python and Javascript code to remediate security vulnerabilities discovered by tooling such as AWS Inspector. We use Terraform and Terragrunt for IAC, and Bazel and Github actions for build and deployment. Candidate is expected to develop intimate familiarity with these systems and work closely with developers to add new features as needed, or otherwise keep them running smoothly. Candidate should also have experience working in multi-account AWS setups and be able to create Terraform code to deploy applications across multiple AWS accounts. Finally we also expect the candidate to help with IT administration, compliance and security related tasks.
