We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer at Sport Alliance, you will play a key role in designing and implementing data processes, ensuring efficient data flow, storage, analysis, and contributing to the overall success of our data initiatives.
Your position in our Team
- Be part of data projects from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop scalable data products.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable data architectures.
- Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT processes for diverse datasets.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the entire data pipeline.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data and technology.
- Foster a culture of data literacy within the organization.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3+ years.
- Proven experience in Data Engineering with a focus on project leadership.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and related data services.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in the fitness or health industry is a plus.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
