Compliance Analyst (M/F)

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of the role will be to provide support to the Edmond de Rothschild Group’s business lines in the UK in all matters that relate to compliance with applicable regulation.

Based in offices in St James’s, you will report to the  Head of Compliance UK.

Key Responsibilities

This is a primarily asset management focused role, which will entail:

• Working closely with and providing support to the Head of Compliance UK, as well as other senior individuals in the business.
• Assisting with Anti Money Laundering processes and KYC reviews.
• Reviewing financial promotions and other marketing materials.
• Implement the Compliance Monitoring Program.
• Assisting with regulatory updates and training sessions.
• Assisting with keeping  the Compliance Manual and other policies up-to-date.
• Providing day-to-day support and ad hoc advice to the UK  business lines.
• Working closely with the UK Group’s legal and risk functions.
• Liaising with colleagues internationally, in particular in Luxembourg, Geneva and Paris.

Key Competencies and Characteristics

The successful candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in a Compliance role for asset management businesses and will have good knowledge of the UK regulatory framework.

The candidate must be eager to learn and have a willingness to take on a challenging and diverse workload, placing importance on long-term solutions and developing strong working relationships.

Key skills in this role will be teamwork, communication/managing people skills, an ability to manage competing priorities, attention to detail, an ability to anticipate issues and a willingness to get involved in a broad range of topics as these arise.

Strong academics essential.

This role gives excellent exposure to senior individuals in the business.
